全因這習慣！他罹5癌切聲帶成「唐老鴨」　2年後又病了
彰化一名56歲陳姓男子，因罹患口腔癌第4期，被醫生告誡要馬上改掉抽菸及吃檳榔習慣，但他只把檳榔戒掉，因此在5年間罹患5癌，喉部和聲帶也慘遭切除，只能透過電子發聲器說話，這才讓他下定決心戒菸。不料，陳男戒菸2年後，竟又發現罹患扁桃腺癌，雖然目前恢復良好，他仍深深意識到檳榔和香菸的可怕，呼籲大家「真的不要碰！」根據《三立新聞網》報導，陳男長年有抽菸及吃檳榔習慣，民國100年時被診斷出罹患口腔癌第四期，不能不逛熱賣商品因此醫師要求他必須馬上戒掉，但他耐不住菸癮，只戒掉吃檳榔習慣，之後5年陸續被診斷出罹患食道癌、咽喉癌、不同位置的口腔癌及下咽喉癌。報導指出，陳男在罹患下咽喉癌時，整個喉部和聲帶都被切除，這影響到他「發聲」權利，必須透過電子發聲器說話。由於發聲器的聲調有如機器人般，陳男的聲音還曾被小孩嘲笑像是「唐老鴨」，使他一度受到打擊，此後下定決心戒菸。沒想到，他戒掉菸癮後2年，竟又被診斷出罹患扁桃腺癌，這讓他十分灰心。對此，彰化醫院耳鼻喉科主任許嘉方醫師表示，陳男是罹癌的高危險群，雖然距離上次罹癌已隔2年多，期間也戒除菸和檳榔，才會再度罹患癌症，但換個角度想，若他沒完全戒菸，扁桃腺癌可能早在1年前就出現。不幸中的大幸是，陳男的扁桃腺癌被發現時是第一期，經放射治療及電療後，病情已獲得控制，現在恢復良好；在歷經了5癌之後，陳男也以過來人身分，呼籲大家「菸和檳榔真的不要碰！」實習編輯／林語璇
